I have always had a lifelong passion for anything creative. Drawing, paintings, and music have all captured me at one time or another. Life so often takes its toll and forces most of us into some sort of career driven 9 to 5 grind that goes on our entire adult lives, robbing us of our creativity. Most do not have time to be creative when they are trying to put food on the table. At the ripe old age of 50, I decided to get back to my roots and do some creating. I have had many canvases over the years to play with but inadvertently landed on wood.

A few years ago, I began tinkering with wood working not knowing where it would lead me. I gravitated to Cheese boards, Geppetta Boards, Charcuterie Boards and Butcher Blocks. I spent hours in my small shop that I built in the back yard, and the stuff I made, I handed out as gifts to friends a family. The very first board I made I gave to my Mom and to this day she still refuses to use it. Soon word got around and people started to order items from me and others donated tools to me. Special thanks here to my Dad (“I don’t need it any more”) who gave me his old router and table and chop saw, my brother in law that donated an old drill press (Dave you Rock), and my Brother Tommy (“Slayer of Deer, Catcher of Kat Fish, and Drinker of Rye”) who gave me a killer Jig Saw for my Birthday. Thus an obsession began!!!

With much encouragement, love and support from my wife Eva (please just get out of the house Bob) I have begun to take my hobby to the next level and offer these goodies to whomever may want them with a few basic principles:

  • Never compromise quality for the almighty dollar

  • Treat everyone like family

  • Put your heart and soul into everything you make

  • Never quit, die on your feet and not your knees, never surrender

  • Live every day like its your last, tomorrow may never come

  • Never Stop Evolving, Never Stop Shedding Skin, Never Stop Becoming
